History

Our romantic Pigeonnier (dovecot) - the first of buildings to benefit from Marco Bernau’s extensive renovation project - offers breath-taking views down the gently-sloping Dordogne Valley.

During the Napoleonic Era, it was used as a fortified watch tower and even served as a staging post, where horse teams were exchanged.

Guest Accommodation and Facilities

The Pigeonnier lies at the eastern side of the estate, and looks out across the pool and towards the east. Our guests can enjoy self-catering in a superbly appointed kitchen before retiring for the night in the romantic and adventurous atmosphere of the tower.
